You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Sefar. You sign in with your phone number and a one-time SMS code; keep your number and device secure, as anyone with access to them can reach your account.

Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put the community at risk.

Sefar is a platform. Hosts are responsible for their listings and stays; guests are responsible for their bookings and conduct. Sefar is not a party to the contract between a host and a guest, but we provide the listing, booking, payment, and support tools that make it work.

To host, you must first pass identity verification, which Sefar reviews and approves manually. New listings are also reviewed before they go live.

You must have the right to list your space, describe it accurately with real photos and amenities, honour confirmed bookings, and comply with Algerian law, applicable taxes, and any building or co-ownership (copropriété) rules. Misleading listings may be removed.

Hosts set their nightly price in Algerian dinar (DA). A host may set a separate euro price for international cards. A Sefar service fee may apply and is always shown before you confirm.

You can pay with Algerian methods — Edahabia, CIB, CCP, or BaridiMob — or with an international Visa or Mastercard. When you book, you authorise the total to be charged through our payment partner.

A booking is confirmed only once payment is accepted and, where the listing requires approval, the host accepts the request. Until then, no stay is guaranteed.

Guests pay into Sefar, not directly to the host. Because instant bank settlement is not yet available in Algeria, your earnings build up as an available balance in your host wallet after the guest checks in and our commission is deducted.

You request a payout whenever you like, and Sefar transfers it manually to the account you choose — your bank RIB, CCP (Algérie Poste), or BaridiMob — subject to a minimum amount and normally within 24 to 48 hours. You are responsible for giving correct payout details and for any taxes due on your earnings.

Each listing shows its cancellation policy — Flexible, Moderate, or Strict. Refunds follow the policy in effect when you booked, calculated from how far ahead you cancel.

If a host cancels a confirmed reservation, the guest receives a full refund. Genuine extenuating circumstances are handled case by case by our support team.

Guests must treat each home with care, follow the house rules, respect neighbours, and leave the place as they found it. You are responsible for any damage you or your party cause.

Keep all payments and communication on Sefar. Moving a booking off-platform removes your protections, breaches these Terms, and may lead to account suspension.

You keep ownership of the content you post and grant Sefar a licence to display it as needed to operate the service. Reviews must be honest and based on a real stay. The Sefar name, logo, and design are our property and may not be used without permission.

Sefar provides the platform on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of hosts or guests, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Algerian law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. Any dispute is subject to the competent courts of Algiers, unless a mandatory rule of Algerian law provides otherwise.
